All design, engineering, and fabrication work is done in-house for single tanks or complete terminal facilities. Fabrication work takes place at the Smith Tank headquarters in Gonzales, LA. Field erection is performed by Smith Tank & Steel crews who specialize in the construction and repair of aboveground welded storage tanks as well as field erection of ASME vessels.
