Smith Tank & Steel was founded in 1997 and has grown to become a nationwide contractor specializing in the construction and repair of API storage tanks with offices in Gonzales, LA, corporate office, Livingston, LA, and Houston, TX.
The shop fabricates tanks, appurtenances and ASME vessels. Bulk loads of plate steel are shipped to the shop by way of rail and truck. Rail can also be used to ship finished products such as heavy vessels.
